Bottle cleaning essentials: brush, lemon, salt and a disassembled steel bottle

A well-kept bottle tastes better and lasts longer. The good news: keeping a SeeVed fresh takes only a couple of minutes and a few things you already have at home.

Every day

Rinse with warm water after each use, especially if you've had anything other than plain water. Leave the cap off to air-dry fully so moisture never gets trapped inside.

Once a week

  • Wash the body with warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a long bottle brush.
  • Take the cap apart and clean every groove — seals are where odours hide.
  • Rinse thoroughly and stand upside down to dry.

Deep clean when needed

For stubborn smells, fill with warm water, add a spoon of baking soda (or a splash of white vinegar), let it sit for a few hours, then scrub and rinse. It resets the interior without harsh chemicals.

Skip the dishwasher for insulated steel and copper — high heat and harsh detergents can dull the finish and affect the vacuum seal.

Caring for copper and glass

  • Copper: clean with a paste of lemon juice and salt to keep it bright; never use abrasive scrubbers.
  • Glass: rinse gently and use a soft brush; a protective sleeve guards against knocks.

A bottle built to be kept

Treat your SeeVed well and it will serve you for years — which is exactly the point. The most sustainable bottle is the one you never have to replace.
